 BEING STUCK The world is moving, but it feels I'm standing still, Just like a rigid and helpless hill. Which stands there unable to move, It got ideas that the world disapproves. But still it hopes for the best,  wishes for a happy sunset. The one where he is free from fears, Experiencing true happiness after many years. -Amrinder

Imperfect Poetry

IMPERFECT


They want you to be perfect,
To be the ultimate one,
To be the center of everyone's attention
Just like the sun....


But what if I'm the moon?
The one with no light,
The one that follows the sun,
& swallow its pride.


I reflect my ideas,
Just like the moon.
My mind creating tides,
& in the darkness, is where I reside.


I'm the imperfect one,
Opposite of the perfect sun.
But I am at peace with it,
Happy being the imperfect misfit.

I have always loved the moon, and can spend hours watching it. It's a symbol of hope, longing and serenity to me. The fact  that moon has nothing no air or gravity on it and still it is able to hold a strong place in the universe astonishes me, as if telling people that no matter how less we feel of ourselves, how imperfect we feel about ourselves, we still hold a value; a special place which only we are capable of filling. Unknowingly like the moon, we affect several lives. Let us keep reflecting our aura like the way moon does and be peaceful and happy in our imperfectly perfect element.

Poem On Silence

Silence Silence Every heart bears a scar,  that bleeds in silence. Their mind is like in a constant war,  With all this violence. The smiling faces makes it hard to guess, That their thoughts are sad & lifeless. Soon a cocoon of darkness is formed, Being away from people becomes a daily norm. The bed becomes a friend, And roof your only sky. You wish whole heartedly that people wont pry. You try to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Hoping to get on track with proper will. But that ugly voice again comes in, Pulls you to a numb side where you have always been. Soon you do things to feel the pain, To just be away from that numb feign.
