"For you, a thousand times over" This quote has been taken from the novel The Kite Runner, written by Khalid Hosseini. This quote has been used by Hassan for Amir. For You, A Thousand Times Over To me this quote is about loving someone, to an extent that you are willing to do anything and everything for them, even a thousand times over. We often associate the word love in a romantic way, but love is diverse. The kite runner depicts love of Hassan for his brother/ friend whom he lovingly called Amir Agha. This quote talks about love in which we put someone else's needs before our priorities, one is willing to do anything for the other person. This love is boundless. But, what I also want to add is self love is very important. At times we give someone such high value in our heart that we totally forget ourselves, our needs, desires, dreams etc. Love should lead to growth.  BEING STUCK The world is moving, but it feels I'm standing still, Just like a rigid and helpless hill. Which stands there unable to move, It got ideas that the world disapproves. Silence Silence Every heart bears a scar,  that bleeds in silence. Their mind is like in a constant war,  With all this violence. The smiling faces makes it hard to guess, That their thoughts are sad & lifeless. Soon a cocoon of darkness is formed, Being away from people becomes a daily norm. The bed becomes a friend, And roof your only sky. You wish whole heartedly that people wont pry. You try to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Hoping to get on track with proper will. But that ugly voice again comes in, Pulls you to a numb side where you have always been. Soon you do things to feel the pain, To just be away from that numb feign. But realizing that this is only illusion saves you, Its the mind that simply makes or breaks you.
